Scary Problem with Windows live Messenger?

If its not your friend it most likely is a hacker who's got hold of the email address somehow, I recommend mailing back and asking who it is for starters as it most likely is your friend emailing you. your IM problem seems to be linked to you being offline or the person your mailing. i also recommend a computer error and virus scan as this problem happened to me in IM and a virus had infected my messenger and caused other problems within my system especially if your computer/laptop seems to be running slower than usual.
