How did the big oil companies resume business in iraq after killing so many ?

We know this was a crime to attack Iraq. They never attacked anyone in USA etc why has the war crimes tribunal etc not had them arrested? The very reason Saddam was hung was because he was a criminal. And perpetrators of the death of more than 1 million Iraqis walk free without reprisal. The US went there to steal they're property and kill they're citizens
