Why do Cung Le fanatics insist that he could survive and even win a battle w/ Anderson Silva or Lyoto Machida?

Cung Le is a greater fighter, but past his prime. He hasn't fought top level competition for a long time. He's pretty much retired and is too rusty to beat Machida or Silva.
